If you see a Low Solar Production error in the Enphase App, it means the solar panels are not producing as much energy as they should be. You can do a few things to troubleshoot and address the issue.
If your system encounters an issue, you will see an Error alert at the top left of the Status tab in the Enphase App. Tap the alert to go to the Notices screen, where you can learn more about the issue.
How to fix the Low Solar Production error
Check the weather
Conditions outside such as thick clouds or snow covering the panels can trigger a Low Solar Production error, even if the system is operating normally. Check the current weather in your area to determine if this is the case. If so, the alert should go away once the conditions clear.
Check the breakers
Check if any of your breakers are tripped. If they are, flip them back on and observe for 24 hours to see if the Low Solar Production error clears.
Note: Circuit breakers are in the breaker box, which is usually found outside of your home, in the basement, or in the garage. |
Contact your installer
If neither of the above troubleshooting steps clear the error, contact PlugPV Customer Support.
